WW1 SLOUCH AUSTRALIAN ARMY HAT NAMED 

 Very Rare and complete Australian Army Slouch hat, inside leather band marked " C. Anderson & Co Ltd. 6.3/4 1918 " . arrow stamps on the inside behind the band, original leather chin strap with hook holders. original puggaree and rising sun hat badge , overall the hat is in very good condition for its age with no holes or problems , minor wear on the edgeing and the stitching has come away in a couple of spots on the inside leather hat band but enough holding to be clearly the original one for the hat.
Also comes with a original miniature medal group as worn for the DSO, MC, WW1 Trio with MID leaf, WW2 pair and Efficency medal and matching Ribbon Bar. pair of Rising sun collar badges, Australia Title badge, gold gilt crown and pipps. Small photo in gilt metal type frame . Nice named drink flask made by James Dixon & Sons Sheffield , named to " Lieut E.J.Parks and dated 18-6-15. And last of all 2 framed Mentioned in Despatch certificates All named to the same officer " E.J.Parks , 16th Infantry Battalion ".
Lieutenant Edward Joseph Parks Enlisted in 1914, embarked on HMAT Kanowna 24-06-1915, 16th Infantry battalion 7 to 17 reinforcements. and returned 1919.
He was awarded the DSO , MC and 3 times MID in 1917, 1918 and 1919. was also in service during WW2 as Training ...
