AUSTRALIA WW1 1st AIF LIGHTHORSE STATUE

This is a cold cast bronze statue of a WW1 Australian Army soldier, 1st AIF Lighthorse Trooper Gallipoli 1915.  Typical of a lighthorseman during the Gallipoli campaign, carries a short Magazine Lee Enfield (SMLE) rifle, hook quillion bayonet & leather bandolier equipment. His informal dress reflects the adaptability of the troops to the cramped trench fighting conditions at ANZAC during the ill-fated 1915 campaign.

The statue is 1:6 scale or around 12 inches high, New with box of issue. Made by "Naked Army".  A limited release of 2000 world wide. The detail of all parts and the uniform is of a very high standard and unlike mass produced collectables each statue is cast and then finished by hand making each individually numbered figurine one of a kind.
